Why Now?
In 2019, the Alison Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship Report revealed that the number one issue faced by women entrepreneurs was access to and awareness of funding. It highlighted that “1% of all venture funding goes to businesses founded by all-women teams, inhibiting scale-up.” This is still the case in 2024, with research by Lifted showcasing, “Despite receiving less than half of the investment capital of their male peers, female-founded companies deliver twice as much revenue per pound invested.”
While Femprenelle cannot single-handedly fix this funding gap, we're committed to levelling the playing field. We empower ambitious Female Founders with essential revenue-generating skills, providing an alternative path to scale beyond traditional funding routes.
